The East and West sides of Twi are pretty disconnected. Yesterday, my Chinese Twi timeline was basically all about Binance Life and other Chinese memes, while my English Twi timeline was entirely focused on the news of @Polymarket receiving a $2 billion investment from ICE, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. Even their competitor @Kalshi didn’t hold back and sent their congratulations. After all, this event is like taking the prediction market space from being “suppressed” by the government to becoming “mainstream.” It kind of feels like the moment when the BTC ETF got approved back in the day. A few days ago, when I was writing about @trylimitless, I mentioned the rumored $9 billion valuation for Poly, which has now been confirmed by this news. Now I’m curious about the FDV for Limitless at the end of the month, as the third-place player in the space. Blind guess: somewhere in the $700M–$1B range?
