The FBI contacted me this week and confirmed that I was hacked by the Lazarus Group, which is how I lost access to my Telegram account. Fortunately, it appears that was the only account compromised. According to the FBI, this malware specifically targets browser-based crypto wallets — including @MetaMask and @Ledger — and has been used by Lazarus to steal hundreds of millions of dollars through sophisticated social-engineering schemes. This is a very serious threat. I strongly encourage everyone to learn how these attacks work and take extra precautions, especially if you use Telegram or browser-based wallets.(Perianne Boring)
