[U.S. Air Force Official Says China May Have 1,500 Nuclear Warheads by 2030]
According to reports from *The Washington Times* and *Stars and Stripes* on October 12, U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff General Wilsbach stated during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing that China's nuclear warhead count has increased from approximately 300 in 2020 to the current 600 and is expected to reach 1,500 by 2030, comparable to the scale of the U.S. and Russia. He warned that China's nuclear weapons and missile threats are on the rise.
