It reminds me of what 海鲜哥 @0xleff said—there’s a group of people who fall somewhere between normal and dumb, in a state of 'mild intellectual disability.' From the outside, they look no different from normal people, and their ability to take care of themselves in daily life isn’t an issue. But once you try to have a deeper conversation with them, you’ll realize they have significant comprehension barriers. They don’t understand what you’re saying, and it’s equally hard to make sense of what they’re saying. They can’t accurately express their thoughts, nor can they effectively absorb and process information from others.
