U.S. Bank Establishes Dedicated Division for Digital Assets and Fund Flows

According to Reuters, U.S. Bank (USB.N, open in new tab) announced on Wednesday that it has established a new division focused on digital assets and fund flows, aiming to accelerate the development of emerging digital products and services while boosting related revenue. Jamie Walker, who has over 20 years of experience working at U.S. Bank, will lead this new division. The division's establishment is intended to develop digital products and capitalize on the growing segments in the financial sector, such as stablecoin issuance, cryptocurrency custody, asset tokenization, and digital fund flows. U.S. Bank Chief Digital Officer Dominic Venturo stated: “Clients are increasingly looking to understand how digital assets can help them transfer funds, store deposits, and utilize tokenized assets in potential application scenarios, all while ensuring security.”
