Traditional giants need to maintain massive operational systems with human labor, while IRYS uses a decentralized network to distribute these costs across global nodes. IRYS, as an L1 blockchain built for professional data storage, integrates storage, execution, and consensus into a vertically unified architecture. Unlike decentralized storage veterans like Filecoin and Arweave, IRYS combines staking with proof of useful work through a hybrid consensus mechanism. Miners earn rewards by storing verifiable data. In terms of approach, this could be considered a disruptive innovation.
