MA 🆚 AMERICA - which government is acting more like an autocracy? Hey @SenMarkey @sethmoulton @RepPressley: Why no comments about the fact that elected officials in MA - the state Ed Markey pretends to live in - are acting like autocrats? @RonMariano and @Spilka4Congress break the law EVERY DAY because they won’t allow an audit 72% of MA voters demanded be the law. Why so silent? How come you won’t speak out against @MassGovernor who refuses to assist the state auditor @DianaDiZoglio - who happens to be a FELLOW DEMOCRAT trying to get the audit done. How come you won’t speak out against @MassAGO who sued @realDonaldTrump 20+ times in 9 months but won’t represent her own state auditor and help sue the state legislature to force the audit? Andrea Campbell approved the audit measure before it made it on the ballot, and found that it complied with the Commonwealth’s constitution, proving Mariano and Spilka’s claims that the audit is somehow unconstitutional is bullshit. Yet, you say nothing. MA is currently operating more like an autocracy than the United States is. Full stop. We have proof. The current minority party - the Democrats - refused to vote for a clean CR - the same CR they voted for 13 times before. Thus, they shut down the federal Government. That would never happen under a true autocracy. But in MA, after citizens overwhelmingly made an audit the law of the land, which will allow taxpayers to see where and how their hard-earned money is being spent, the elected leaders here said: “F You” we won’t comply. There’s no transparency in MA and corruption appears to run rampant - yet you all remain silent. 🤫 It is clear your hatred for all things Trump outweighs your love and loyalty to MA & America - and I say that as someone who did not support President Trump. But that’s the difference between someone who fights against people and issues versus someone who fights for people and issues. If you want to speak out and march against Trump that’s fine but you should also be able get call out officials in your own state acting against the interests of its citizen and taxpayers. But that would require that you utter a word against someone in your own party. I hope someone gets in the U.S. Senate race in MA who will put people before party and truth before politics.(John E Deaton)
