The new upgrade introduces native fee subsidy functionality and critical security improvements, replacing the earlier v2.1 version ahead of the full upgrade of the Sonic mainnet to Pectra compatibility. This upgrade applies to validators, RPC providers, archive nodes, exchanges, and other node operators.
