✍️ Let’s talk about Monad ecosystem’s top project Apr and the unexpected rug pull for everyone.
Honestly, this rug pull wasn’t surprising—it’s all about the difference in logic between public chains and Dapps.
For public chains, they attract users through broad airdrops, focusing on long-term sustainability. But for Dapps, they care more about users who actually generate revenue for the protocol.
Back to Apr—its core business hasn’t even started yet, so how could they allocate tokens to testnet users this early? If everything goes to testnet users, who’s going to play on the mainnet?
This isn’t defending the project team, just stating the facts. Don’t like it? Don’t flame me.
In short, for those farming tokens, remember these three rules:
✅ Do things that require effort and skill
✅ Be the kind of user the project team needs
✅ Focus on things that help your personal growth
That said, @monad ecosystem’s other projects are even tougher.
By comparison, @River4fun has indeed given retail investors a lot of opportunities—but only if you participate and stick with RIVER.
