Checked out the @402bridge contract owner change, it was this transaction: https://basescan.org/tx/0x089a6336425c6ee6d8954923763cbaeef1173ce44b5c0ab853c85863726e46e2 Looks like the private key was stolen, though we can’t rule out an insider job (this doesn’t mean the project team collectively acted maliciously, as it’s not a typical rug pull). http://402bridge.fun was just registered two days ago and has already stopped services. Then the 'hacker' 0x2b8F95560b5f1d1a439dd4d150b28FAE2B6B361F stole all the USDC authorized by users to this bridge contract in bulk. They didn’t profit much, only converted it to 4.2 ETH, which is currently bridged to Arbitrum and hasn’t moved further yet... This is the first publicly reported theft case related to the 402 protocol services.
