Recently, we’ve noticed that a certain competitor, “BN,” has been enthusiastically firing tempting “sugar-coated bullets” at OKX employees.
We fully understand that this is part of normal business competition — and as always, OKX would like to respond with professionalism, not theatrics.
1. OKX’s Competitive Offer Policy
Whenever an OKX employee receives an external offer, they only need to share it with HR. HR will immediately convene the company’s Talent Committee for evaluation. For most key talents, OKX will instantly match or exceed the competing offer with a more attractive compensation package.
If the committee decides not to match, we still appreciate the employee’s transparency and integrity — and provide generous severance and our sincere best wishes. Mutual respect and openness are the foundation of trust between OKX and its people.
2. The “Use-and-Discard” Hiring Pattern at Our Competitor
We’ve also observed a recurring trend at our competitor: short-term exploitation followed by quick dismissal.
• The protagonist of the so-called “open letter” incident, Gala, was reportedly poached by the competitor’s founder himself — only to be dropped once deemed of no further use.
• A former OKX DEX product manager was hired and then terminated shortly after due to “performance.”
• OKX’s former Chief Legal and Compliance Officer joined the competitor and departed within only four months, for reasons unknown.
These are not isolated cases — they are patterns.
Such “hire fast, discard faster” behavior reflects short-term thinking and a lack of genuine respect for people.
3. Facts Speak Louder Than Smears
It’s amusing that the same competitor’s founder loves to claim that OKX “treats employees poorly.”
In reality, OKX invests heavily in its people — offering industry-leading salaries, bonuses, stock options, and long-term token incentives.
Nearly a hundred former senior and mid-level managers from that very competitor have voluntarily joined OKX.
They have flourished here, performing exceptionally well — with individual compensation increasing by 100% to 500%.
Facts, as always, speak louder than words.
