Swiss software company Avaloq released a report stating that high-net-worth investors (HNW) in the UAE show significantly higher interest in crypto assets compared to the global average. Around 39% of respondents said they hold cryptocurrencies, but only 20% of them manage these assets through traditional wealth management institutions. The survey was conducted between February and March 2025, covering 3,851 investors and 456 wealth management professionals. The report highlights that 63% of respondents have switched or are considering switching wealth management institutions, partly due to their previous institutions failing to meet their needs for crypto asset services.
