Irys @irys_xyz official Twitter finally popped up. Basically, the mainnet progress is at 60%. Irys is an L1 blockchain designed specifically for programmable data chains, aiming to enable data to be stored, verified, and directly operated by smart contracts. The team stated that when the mainnet goes live, the data previously uploaded to Bundler nodes on the testnet will be migrated to the mainnet, and the transaction IDs will remain unchanged. Why migrate? 1️⃣ The testnet allows development, uploading, and verification but may include temporary data or zero-fee scenarios. Once the mainnet launches, real tokens will be used for fees, taking on the responsibilities of a real-world environment. 2️⃣ To ensure that data, transactions, and smart contracts achieve true production-grade usability, security, and economic viability. 3️⃣ Migration guarantees that early test uploads of data assets, such as files, records, and states, won't be lost, thereby protecting the value of previous operations for developers and users. All data uploaded to the testnet Bundler will be automatically migrated when the mainnet launches, so there's no need to manually move the data. After migration, the transaction IDs will remain unchanged, meaning the content uploaded earlier can still be retrieved on the mainnet.
