According to The Block, Nasdaq-listed company HIVE Digital Technologies announced the acquisition of 32.5 acres of land in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, for approximately $1.7 million. The land will be used to build a renewable energy-powered data center campus, with plans to deploy over 25,000 GPUs and establish its first Tier III+ high-reliability data center in Atlantic Canada. HIVE stated it is transitioning from Bitcoin mining to AI/HPC hosting, leveraging hydropower and existing facilities to serve "hyperscalers."
