Looking at BTC & ETH's Q4 returns so far, and the overall year of 2025. It really isn't all that bad. BTC is up 8% YTD, after being down -20% at some point. ETH is down -2% YTD, after being down -58% at some point. It is far from what people imagined this year to be. And obviously the real pain is from the opportunity cost and poor altcoin performance. Making it a disappointing and difficult year overall. That's the way crypto and financial markets behave in the end. Sometimes it surpasses all your wildest expectations while the other times it ruins your dreams and hopes. It's why it's always important to manage your risk and watch the higher timeframes.
