On Day 38 of the federal government shutdown, the House announced today during its pro forma session that Nov. 10-16 will now be a district work period for members, meaning no votes will be held for an 8TH consecutive week. Last votes were held Sept. 19th. House GOP leaders are awaiting Senate approval of the short-term funding bill to reopen the gov't & will give members 48 hours to return to DC if votes are scheduled.(Craig Caplan)
