[Positive Results Achieved in the First Batch of Pilot Projects for National Data Infrastructure Construction] According to the National Data Bureau, over the past year, the first batch of pilot projects for national data infrastructure construction has achieved positive results: data infrastructure nodes have been established in 18 cities, including Beijing and Nanjing; over 100 business scenarios have been incubated; and more than 3,900 entities, including data exchanges and data developers, have been brought together, providing over 13,000 data products externally. Data from the National Data Bureau shows that as of the end of September, the total volume of high-quality datasets built nationwide has exceeded 500PB; seven data annotation bases have introduced and cultivated 362 annotation enterprises, employing 85,000 annotation professionals and driving related output value to 16.3 billion yuan. Additionally, the average daily token consumption in China has surpassed 40 trillion, marking a more than 400-fold increase compared to early 2024. Next, the National Data Bureau will continue to focus on pilot projects, exploring optimal paths for infrastructure construction. The second batch of pilot projects deployed this year is a continuation and deepening of the first batch. Building on the foundation of the first batch, the National Data Bureau will further test technological maturity, scenario effectiveness, standard applicability, and institutional compatibility.
