A friend asked: Didn’t you say you don’t think there will be another altcoin season? Then why allocate 10% to altcoins? I’m not sure how you guys define altcoin season. In my mind, altcoin season was like 2021 when all the altcoins were skyrocketing, with 10x or even 100x gains everywhere. I don’t think that kind of scenario will happen again. But does that mean there’s no hope for altcoins at all? Personally, I’ve analyzed that many altcoins returning to their previous all-time highs is almost impossible, but for those altcoins that can survive both bull and bear markets, seeing a 3-5x increase during a market uptrend from their low points is still possible. It all depends on the price at which you bought your tokens. I predict $BTC could double 1-2x next year, $ETH might also see 1-2x growth if there’s no major innovation (like NFTs or DeFi), and $SOL could go 2-3x. Quality altcoins might achieve 3-5x, but the bigger the profit, the bigger the risk. Gains and losses go hand in hand.
