According to Caixin, the 60,000+ Bitcoins confiscated by the UK government from Chinese pyramid scheme leader Qian Zhimin have far exceeded the amount needed to compensate victims. Whether Chinese victims will only get back their principal or also receive part of the appreciation still requires complex legal discussions. The UK Chancellor stated that the funds would be used to help fill public finance gaps. The report revealed that Qian Zhimin first learned about Bitcoin in 2012, with the ambitious goal of one day owning 210,000 Bitcoins, accounting for 1% of the total Bitcoin supply—and she almost achieved this target. Qian Zhimin hid in the UK for five years and was eventually caught by UK police after Bitcoin wallet funds were traced to Binance. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=51945
