Deflationary mechanisms are trending again.
A lot of older tokens are adopting deflationary strategies to maintain value stability and sustainability.
Take NFP, for example—an AI-focused UGC platform. The sector itself is solid, but after the last wave of secondary AI market hype, the overall AI narrative has entered a phase of rest and recovery.
Now is not the time to rely on external forces; it’s time to focus on internal strength, especially at the product level.
I tried NFPromp, and it’s genuinely useful. The visual effects are way better than many paid tools on the market.
You don’t know until you research—since the beginning of this year, NFP has conducted 11 token burns. Apart from the first burn of 1,601,111 tokens, every other burn has been 3 million tokens.
Personally, I think burning deflationary tokens is a crucial part of ecosystem development. It effectively enhances the intrinsic value of the tokens and provides stronger economic incentives for creators, developers, and holders.
Reducing liquidity, from any perspective, is a win-win.
It ensures that the tokenomics align with ecosystem growth while avoiding long-term inflation that dilutes community value.
If community value starts to decline, the ecosystem will eventually wither away—and that’s the last thing any project team wants to see.
NFPromp @nfprompt has managed to adjust its mechanisms in time this year and achieve self-driven growth, outperforming most of the projects that have given up. Let’s see what moves they make next—keeping an eye on them long-term.
