Simply put, the future amount of BGB burned will be directly tied to Morph Network's Gas revenue—the more active the network, the more Gas consumed, the more BGB gets burned. This marks an important milestone for BGB transitioning from a single exchange platform token to a public chain ecosystem token. At least in terms of utility, it far surpasses its previous role. After all, as a public chain Gas token, every operation on the Morph chain will require BGB as Gas. Moreover, within the chain's DeFi applications, BGB will serve as the core settlement asset. By leveraging the resources and influence of the CEX, Morph aims to nurture and support on-chain projects to build the ecosystem, creating a strong moat for users and projects, which in turn will further benefit the CEX's development. There’s already a precedent for this: BSC and BNB.
