Espresso is about to TGE, and it's time to reassess its positioning. @espressosys isn’t just another L2; it’s a 'connective layer' providing shared sequencing and fast finality for various Rollups. Backed by funding from a16z and ecosystems like Polygon and StarkWare, it’s paving the way for large-scale adoption. Its open-source framework and testnet have already demonstrated plug-and-play compatibility with multiple Rollup frameworks, reducing integration costs and converging cross-chain confirmations to around 6 seconds. As the L2 landscape accelerates toward fragmentation, the demand for cross-Rollup composability and unified liquidity will continue to grow. If the decentralized proposer/validator network and economic model are successfully implemented, ESP could leverage network effects to become the shared confirmation and coordination base for all L2s.
