As part of the closure process, Tether will cease redemption services for EUR₮ on all supported blockchains starting November 27, 2025. Tether had previously stopped minting EURT, with the last subscription request processed in 2022, and no new EURT issuance applications are being accepted. In November last year, Tether announced the cessation of EURT issuance due to the European regulatory environment.
