Messari published a research report on Talus Network, and as always, it’s a classic Messari deep dive. Here’s a simplified breakdown for everyone: 1) About the core technology, Nexus framework: Talus addresses three common issues with current AI agents: lack of native monetization methods, lack of transparency in operations, and difficulty in controlling security risks. Nexus brings AI calls, payment processes, and task verification on-chain, creating an auditable and incentivized execution environment through smart contracts. Agents can use Talus Tools to perform basic on-chain or AI operations, while the roles executing these tasks must stake US tokens and are subject to penalty mechanisms to ensure compliance with the rules. 2) Tokenomics: Talus’s token, US, has a total supply of 10 billion, with a “dual-track” distribution plan: 30% for community incentives and airdrops, 20% allocated to the foundation, 20.5% to investors, 22% to the team, and 7.5% as network bootstrap rewards. Fees within the network are paid in US, with a portion burned for recycling, creating a relatively self-sustaining economic loop. Token holders can participate in governance in the future and earn a share of execution fees through staking. 3) Utility: US is the core asset of the network. Deploying agents or executing workflows on Nexus requires payment in US for higher priority. Basic transactions on Talus still use SUI, but the system will automatically convert part of the gas fees into US, ensuring a continuous inflow of external value into the US pool and creating stable demand. 4) The project has already completed a $10 million funding round, led by Polychain Capital, with strategic support from Sui Foundation and Mysten Labs. If the mainnet launches successfully in Q1 2026, Talus has the potential to become a landmark infrastructure in the decentralized AI space. (View on my own. Does not represent any endorsement)
