The USA has stopped funding Ukraine, we only sell weapons to Europe and then they give those weapons to Ukraine. Europe wants to keep funding the Ukraine war, using frozen Russian assets. Eventually this war will be over and Europe will want cheaper oil and natural gas. Russia is going to demand their frozen assets be returned. I suspect the current people in power don’t expect to be around or forced to deal with that problem when it arises. They just want their money laundering schemes to continue being funded.
