Asked @BinanceWallet leadership about this. Confirmed it’s fake news, there’s no such plan at the moment. Alpha has always been on BNB Chain, driven by wallet functionality, and doesn’t impact http://(Binance.com) main site. Maybe there’ll be adjustments to the listing policy in the future, but for now, as the main tool for acquiring users through airdrop discounts, Alpha is truly a genius design. It also aligns with @cz_binance’s vision to make 'Binance more like a DEX, where you can buy any asset.' I don’t see any reason to shut it down, not sure where this rumor came from.
