The weekend news is still centered around Venezuela. The best market reaction will depend on U.S. stock futures and the U.S. spot market opening. When futures open tomorrow morning, it’ll mostly reflect the views of Asian investors on the U.S. and Venezuela events, while in the evening, it’ll be the expectations of European and American investors. Based on the current information, things are looking pretty optimistic. If Venezuela’s oil, gold, and rare earths can be successfully co-developed with the U.S., it’ll be beneficial for the U.S. economy and help ease inflation. Over the past few years, the biggest concern for U.S. tech giants has been the rare earth supply chain being choked by Asia. If Venezuela’s rare earth resources can be mined under joint development with the U.S., it will directly reduce the supply chain risk premium for U.S. high-tech manufacturing. The market might be willing to give Nasdaq a higher P/E ratio. And I’ve always believed that tech stocks have a positive correlation with Bitcoin. Looking at Bitcoin data, Sunday’s turnover rate continues to rise, with short-term profit-taking investors increasing their sell-offs. However, the market hasn’t shown signs of being unable to absorb these sales, indicating that many investors still believe BTC has good potential for development leading into 2026. The chip structure hasn’t changed much either. Whether the bottom around $87,000 can hold depends mainly on the U.S. stock market’s performance after Monday’s opening. If the $90,000 curse can truly be broken, then the market opportunities ahead look promising. @bitget VIP, lower fees, bigger perks
