Honestly, the biggest change for me after moving to Singapore in 2024 was my perspective. I met so many amazing friends and realized I used to be like a frog in a well. Once I broadened my horizons, I started exploring potential investment opportunities in global markets.
The stock market is a straightforward investment channel. For example, I think Vietnam and India will see growth in manufacturing. I also know Samsung and South Korea have a significant industrial chain in Vietnam, so investing in the local 'Samsung' is a good opportunity. If all of that feels too complicated, just look at Vietnam's index. If a country is in a growth phase, its index is bound to rise.
Next is corporate investment. I don’t understand much, but the areas I do grasp are all experiencing rapid growth in Vietnam right now, like gaming, short videos, cryptocurrency, and even entertainment. Last year, I connected with many top influencers in Vietnam and their MCN companies, as well as pioneers in the live-streaming industry. This year, my collaborations with them will continue to expand.
Of course, investing in cryptocurrency companies and communities is also an option, but you need to have a good understanding of local policies.
Lastly, what I personally do the most—and what I enjoy the most—is investing in people, supporting local friends in starting their businesses. I won’t elaborate too much on this.
