[NVIDIA: Progress on the new Rubin chip is smooth, helping accelerate AI processing speed] BlockBeats news, January 6, NVIDIA (NVDA.O) announced that the highly anticipated new 'Rubin' data center product will be launched this year, allowing customers to test the technology and accelerate the development of artificial intelligence. NVIDIA stated that six Rubin chips have been delivered by manufacturing partners and have passed several critical tests, indicating that customer deployment is progressing as planned. The newly launched Rubin accelerator offers 3.5 times the training performance of its predecessor, Blackwell, and improves AI software processing speed by 5 times. The company emphasized that systems based on Rubin will have lower operating costs compared to systems based on Blackwell, as they achieve the same results with fewer components. It is reported that Microsoft and other major remote computing service providers will be the first to adopt this new hardware in the second half of the year. (Jin10)
