WuTalk has learned that Latin American digital bank Kontigo announced it will compensate over 1,000 users in a stablecoin security incident, involving losses of approximately $340,905 (USDC). Kontigo stated that the platform detected abnormal access, promptly shut down the affected systems, initiated emergency security procedures, and confirmed that all affected funds will be 100% refunded.
