The inflation expectation for the next three years also stayed steady at 2.5%, and similarly, the inflation expectation for the next five years remained at 2.2%. Additionally, uncertainty regarding inflation expectations for the next 12 months in November also remained stable. Respondents from low-income groups reported slightly higher average perceived inflation rates and short-term inflation expectations compared to high-income groups, a trend that has persisted since 2023. However, the overall trend in perceived inflation and inflation expectations among different income groups remains relatively consistent. Young respondents (aged 18-34) continue to report lower perceived inflation rates and inflation expectations compared to older respondents (aged 35-54 and 55-70).
