[Analyst: Bitcoin May Challenge $98,000–$100,000 in the Short Term, but Bearish on 2026 Outlook] Odaily Planet Daily News – Crypto analyst Willy Woo posted on the X platform, expressing optimism about Bitcoin's performance from late January to February. He noted that the current internal investor flow model indicates the market has steadily strengthened after bottoming out at the end of December last year, though prices typically take 2–3 weeks to reflect this change. Additionally, derivatives liquidity in the futures market is returning after months of dormancy, resembling the situation in mid-2021, which led to the second peak of the previous cycle. At this stage, Bitcoin needs to challenge the $98,000 to $100,000 price range. If it breaks through this level, attention should be paid to the resistance at the all-time high (ATH). However, Willy Woo remains bearish on the outlook for 2026 as, from a more macro perspective, liquidity flow relative to price momentum has been weakening since January 2025. If a significant influx of spot liquidity occurs in the coming months to break the downward trend, it could change his view. Currently, the bear market has not been confirmed, as evidenced by the continuous increase in negative capital outflows from Bitcoin, which is a lagging indicator of a cycle peak.
