For now, NYSE tokenized settlement runs on permissioned blockchains. Over time, public chains will likely play a role, imo. Think about Bitcoin: indirect exposure came first through trusts and MSTR, then spot ETFs arrived once regulations caught up. Permissioned chains make sense today for regulatory and security reasons.
