The thing about leeks is, once they grow out of the ground, they don’t branch out. Trees branch out, even bamboo branches out, but leeks are just one straight line. In the financial market, the characteristic of 'leeks' is that they can only see financial products that rise quickly, believing that only rising prices can make money (which is true for A-shares and real estate). They fail to see the slow buildup before the rapid rise, nor do they understand that in a mature financial market, even a downturn can be an opportunity to make money. In reality, it’s hard to make money in a one-sided bull market. Those who claim they sold their house in 2023 to go all-in on gold are just blowing smoke out of insecurity. Similarly, it’s hard to make money in a one-sided bear market. Human nature ensures that in a one-sided trend, whether you go long or short, you won’t be able to hold your position. Only financial products with wide fluctuations can make money. BTC is one of those wide-fluctuation assets, the so-called high-risk category. So whether it’s spot trading or contracts, only high-risk assets like Bitcoin (ETH, DOGE, etc.) can make money. Gold and silver are currently in a one-sided bulldozer trend. Best wishes to the leeks chasing the highs—may they become capital at the peak! If your IQ can’t grasp what I’m saying, I’m not bothered to explain it to you. But please don’t use your low cognitive ability as an excuse to spew nonsense fearlessly.
