STANCHART CUTS BITCOIN TARGET, WARNS OF FURTHER DROPS Standard Chartered slashed its end-2026 Bitcoin target to $100,000 from $150,000, its second cut in three months, and warned prices could fall to $50,000 before recovering. The bank cited ETF outflows, a weaker macro backdrop, and delayed Fed rate cuts as key risks. Bitcoin has dropped over 40% from its October peak, while investors have pulled nearly $8 billion from U.S. spot ETFs. The bank also cut its 2026 Ether target to $4,000 from $7,500, expecting it to dip to about $1,400 first. Despite the losses, analysts say the downturn has been more orderly than past crypto crashes.(*Walter Bloomberg)
