[Hyperliquid Policy Center CEO: Decentralized Exchange Front-End Interfaces Should Not Enforce KYC] On February 20, Hyperliquid Policy Center CEO Jake Chervinsky posted on the X platform, stating that front-end interfaces connecting to decentralized exchange protocols should not be required to enforce KYC. U.S. law does not mandate non-custodial software developers to monitor users without a warrant, as financial privacy is a fundamental right. He emphasized that while regulators cannot ignore illicit financial activities on-chain, the solution should not be to directly apply traditional financial system regulatory rules to new technologies.
