If BNB holds on for a long time, is there a better way to generate revenue? Although the current market situation is not good, I believe that people like me who are optimistic about BNB in the long run and will persist in holding it have all thought about this issue. So recently, I have been focusing on one direction: the revenue layer of BNB One typical project is Sigma @ sigmadotmoney It is actually doing one thing: turning the act of "holding BNB" into a set of gameplay where one can choose risks and amplify returns on their own. Previously, obtaining BNB was nothing more than waiting for price increases, managing finances, mining, doing LP, and opening PERP. However, these methods all have a common problem in essence: Either the returns are unstable, or in the long run, time itself is a cost. Sigma's gameplay is equivalent to adding a layer of structure to BNB, adding low-cost leverage, and then using a rebalancing mechanism to control risks and turn BNB into a reusable bottom layer of returns. My understanding is that its gameplay is actually limited to two types of people: There are two types of people: those who hold BNB for a long time and hope for an additional source of income, and those who want to go long/short on BNB but do not want to be dragged down by funding rates. I think some of the designs it is doing now are quite interesting: For example, a spot leverage of up to 7x, but without a sustained funding rate, For example, using a rebalancing mechanism to replace traditional "strong leveling" and reduce losses in extreme market conditions. That is to say, this type of design can transform leverage from a short-term tool into a structure that can be used in the medium to long term. The project has been online on Binance Alpha for some time now and is also a project that emerged from BNB Chain MVB10, But personally, what I am more concerned about is not its current APR (of course, a high APR close to 200% is there, and it hasn't fallen in two weeks, which is indeed rare) But rather a longer-term issue: If BNB has the next market trend, will this agreement of "turning BNB into a profit structure" become standard? If so, may this layer become a crucial infrastructure in the BNB ecosystem What do you all think?
