VanEck collaborates with Basic Capital to integrate digital asset ETFs into the 401 (k) platform

On March 12th, VanEck partnered with Basic Capital to include some digital asset ETFs in the company's 401 (k) retirement plan platform, allowing American retirement savers to indirectly invest in cryptocurrency assets through exchange traded funds. VanEck products include spot Bitcoin ETF VanEck Bitcoin Trust (HODL) and Ethereum ETF VanEck Ethereum Trust (ETHV). The US Department of Labor has previously withdrawn its restrictive guidance on providing cryptocurrency investments for 401 (k) plans.
