[USDC and Circle CCTP Now Live on Morph, Supporting Standardized Cross-Chain USD Settlement] Odaily Planet Daily News: USDC and Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) are now live on Morph. USDC, as the USD-denominated settlement asset within the Morph network, is now issued on Morph by Circle's regulated affiliate. CCTP enables USDC to be transferred cross-chain between Morph and other supported blockchains on a 1:1 basis, by burning on the source chain and minting natively on the destination chain, thereby maintaining supply integrity. Developers can choose between standard transfer and fast transfer modes based on security and timeliness requirements. Morph stated that USDC and CCTP will support USD settlement needs in scenarios such as cross-border remittances, crypto payment cards, payment gateways, as well as DeFi and trading, further driving the development of on-chain payment infrastructure.
