According to Wu Blockchain, Coinbase announced that its Australian subsidiary has obtained an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) issued by ASIC, which includes a retail derivatives license. This allows them to offer crypto and stock perpetual contract trading locally, with plans to expand to futures and options products in the future.
