No, M2 is not accelerating. This is an artifact of converting every domestic money supply into dollars and adding them up as if they're all one pool of dollar capital. The DOLLAR has fallen. People CONTINUALLY make this mistake with global money aggregates.
The dollar is down about -4% to -5% over the past two years (per DXY). That is driving various M2 figures when converted into dollars.
Global M2 (using G7 as a proxy) in respective local currency terms however, all piled together, has been DECELERATING growth-wise since 2021 and is growing at ~3% y/y.(𝐓𝐗𝐌𝐂)
