Elon Musk is at it again! SpaceX has officially launched the AI satellite AI1, basically sending a data center into space.
Check out these insane specs:
• 150 kW peak computing power, equivalent to an NVIDIA GB300 rack
• 70-meter wingspan, 20 meters tall, fully powered by solar energy
• Modular design, allowing GPU suppliers to be swapped anytime
And the craziest part? The scale. SpaceX has already applied to the FCC for a constellation of 1 million satellites! If they launch 1 million tons per year, they could add 100 GW of computing power to orbit annually.
What does this mean? Ground-based data centers are limited by electricity, land, and power grids, but space completely bypasses these constraints.
Trust Musk, trust SpaceX. When SpaceX goes public, it’s a must-buy—this guy is a world-changing legend!
