[OpenAI to Promote AI Content Source Verification Standards and Support EU Transparency Guidelines for AI-Generated Content]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on June 12, OpenAI officially announced its initiative to promote the establishment of AI content source verification standards and its support for the European Commission's *Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content*, aimed at enhancing traceability and transparency of AI-generated content.
It is reported that starting in 2024, OpenAI has integrated C2PA metadata into its DALL·E 3 image generation tool to identify the source of AI-generated content. Moving forward, OpenAI will continue to improve content tagging and detection technologies and launch public verification tools to help users determine whether images contain source signals related to OpenAI-generated content.
