[NVIDIA Issues Investment-Grade Bonds for the First Time in Five Years with $85 Billion in Subscriptions]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 16, NVIDIA is set to raise $25 billion through an investment-grade bond issuance on Monday, with subscription demand exceeding three times the planned offering size, highlighting investors' eagerness to gain a share of the artificial intelligence boom. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the bond issuance attracted subscriptions totaling as much as $85 billion. Another source stated that NVIDIA will issue the bonds in seven tranches, with maturities ranging from 2 years to 30 years. The source also mentioned that the longest-maturity bonds in this issuance are priced at a yield approximately 0.65 percentage points higher than U.S. Treasury yields. Additionally, the funds raised from this bond issuance will be used for purposes such as refinancing existing debt. This marks NVIDIA's first bond issuance in five years.
