Binance just released a compliance report, and it’s packed with some surprising data. Here’s the gist: the company currently has nearly 1,500 compliance-related team members, making up about a quarter of the total workforce. Doing the math, Binance now has around 6,000 employees. On compliance, they’re spending roughly $300 million annually—about 57% more than the traditional financial industry. In 2025, the platform handled 72,000 requests from law enforcement agencies, and in the first half of this year alone, it’s already at 36,000.
