#Aave Founder Suggests Ethereum Foundation Reform#

Aave founder Stani Kulechov recently proposed 12 improvements to the Ethereum Foundation's (EF) budget and operational structure, sparking community discussions. He believes that the EF currently has excessive spending and fund management issues and suggests reducing annual spending from $130 million to $30 million, limiting staff numbers to 80, streamlining the team structure, dismissing unnecessary positions, and ensuring 80% of team members are technical personnel. He also recommends establishing a five-person leadership committee chaired by Vitalik Buterin and strengthening fund management through internalizing the fund management team, decentralizing treasury assets, and converting staking rewards into stablecoins. Stani emphasizes that the current team size is too large and prone to communication breakdowns, proposing to streamline to a more efficient size and focus on long-term sustainable development. Notably, Vitalik Buterin also announced changes in the Ethereum Foundation leadership and expressed his goal of achieving five objectives, which align with Stani's suggestions, indicating that the Ethereum Foundation is actively seeking reforms to address current challenges.
