### Vitalik Buterin Responds to Foundation Controversy#

Vitalik Buterin responded to the controversy surrounding the leadership changes at the Ethereum Foundation on Twitter. He stated clearly that he currently holds the decision-making power for the new leadership team at the Ethereum Foundation. The ongoing reforms aim to introduce a formal board of directors to the foundation, but until then, the decision-making authority remains with him. Buterin criticized pressure tactics on social media, arguing that they disrupt the working environment for talented developers and make foundation management more difficult. He noted that this behavior not only fails to contribute to achieving the goals but also diminishes his interest in accommodating these demands. Furthermore, he defended Aya Miyaguchi against attacks, pointing out translation discrepancies in the relevant quotes and criticizing the attacks against her as "pure malice." Buterin also stated that the Ethereum Foundation should focus on core areas of Ethereum that it can effectively represent, while creating space for other organizations (such as Consensys or similar institutions) to develop other aspects of the ecosystem in more suitable forms, some of which may be better suited to operate as for-profit models.
