#Tether is Hiring an AI Filmmaker#

Stablecoin issuer Tether is aggressively expanding into the artificial intelligence space. Its CEO, Paolo Ardoino, says the company has hired 30 employees in recent months focused on designing and building its AI platform, and it plans to recruit AI filmmakers in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and South America regions. Ardoino believes that AI-based roles, particularly in filmmaking, offer unique advantages that align with Tether’s vision of innovation and efficiency, citing scale, speed, and cost as examples. He says that AI is a “key area of focus” for Tether, and organizations must adapt to this changing reality and reflect it in the types of positions they seek to fill. Tether plans to double its workforce to 200 by mid-2025 and expects to achieve over $10 billion in profits by the end of 2024. Ardoino will be speaking at the Italian AI Week event in May, outlining Tether’s AI strategy centered around financial freedom, with an emphasis on open-source, peer-to-peer technology, and privacy protection. He says he will unveil the true realities of disruptive technologies like AI, robotics, and brain-computer interfaces, and explore future scenarios veiled by “good intentions.”
