#Tether is hiring an AI Filmmaker#

Tether is aggressively positioning itself in the artificial intelligence space, having hired 30 AI platform development professionals in recent months. The company is looking to recruit AI filmmakers in the Asia Pacific, Europe and South America regions, and plans to double its staff size to 200 by mid-2025. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said AI-based positions, particularly in filmmaking, offer unique advantages that align with Tether’s vision for innovation and efficiency, citing scale, speed and cost as a few examples. Ardoino said Tether has a relatively lean staff and has hired 30 employees over the past few months focused on designing and building its AI platform. He declined to provide further details about the final product, but said AI is a “major area of focus” for Tether, and the organization must adapt to this evolving reality, reflected in the types of positions they are seeking to fill. Ardoino also said Tether is on track to surpass $10 billion in profits by the end of 2024, and will be speaking at the AI Week event in Italy in May to introduce Tether’s AI strategy centered on financial freedom, focusing on open-source, peer-to-peer technology and privacy protection.
