#Ethereum Foundation Reform#

The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is undergoing a major reform, a process that has been ongoing for nearly a year. The goals of the reform include improving the technical capabilities of leadership, enhancing two-way communication with all parties in the ecosystem (including users, application developers, wallets, and L2s), strengthening execution and speed, attracting new talent, actively supporting application developers, and ensuring that core values such as privacy, open-source, and resistance to censorship are implemented at the application layer. Vitalik Buterin emphasized that the EF will not pursue an ideological shift, nor will it excessively lobby regulators or political figures, and it will never turn itself into an arena for interest groups. Specific measures of the reform include introducing new talent, improving execution capabilities and speed, more actively supporting application developers, and ensuring that important values and inalienable rights (especially privacy, open-source, and resistance to censorship) are a reality for users, including the application layer. Furthermore, the EF will continue to increase its support for decentralized and privacy technologies, as well as the use of the Ethereum chain, including for payments and fund management. Some community members have called on the EF to place greater emphasis on technical talent and to be more proactive in supporting the ecosystem's development, rather than simply playing a neutral role.
